I propose a Machiavellian explanation why the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation chairman, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), went to the White House without telling his committee colleagues he was to meet with a secret source. Quite a few reporters, congress people, and citizens share the view that Nunes may be sabotaging his committee’s efforts. Why?
