Claim Jumper and cooking ribs.

Claim Jumper and cooking ribs.

Restaurant review Claim Jumper, 9/30/07 Sunday evening I asked my son and daughter if they wanted to go out to eat. My daughter was not hungry but my son wanted to go to the Brea Claim Jumper. He loves the nachos, a dish of French fries with a couple of cheeses melted into them with bacon bits I believe. I had fallen in love with their baby back ribs. I called the restaurant before leaving the house and was told…

Spaghetti Factory in Fullerton, California.

Spaghetti Factory in Fullerton, California.

9-25-07 Evening The Old Spaghetti Factory 110 East Santa Fe Fullerton, Calif. 92832 Phone: 714-526-6801 Review: Good. This restaurant is located next to the Amtrak station for Fullerton. The building where the restaurant is located was once the Orange County depot for the Union Pacific Railroad. The building was built in 1923. It is quite large; cavernous is only a slight exaggeration.   I was dinning alone as I had just dropped off my son at the Fullerton Junior College…

Fullerton’s Soco District, Roscoe’s Famous Deli

September 24, 2007 evening. Rating: ok At 6 PM I had to take my son to Fullerton Junior College for an evening class that lasted three and a half to four hours. This evening I decided to pick another part of the city to explore. This is an old town…

Starring Roles Bakery – MGM Studios – Walt Disney World

Starring Roles Bakery – MGM Studios – Walt Disney World This bakery is located right next to the Brown Derby Restaurant in the MGM Studios. There is no indoor seating, but there are several tables with umbrellas on the patio just outside the bakery. The tables have a good view of the action on one of the busiest corners of the MGM Studio and are great for people watching and taking a break. I love this place. It’s great for…

The Writer’s Corner – MGM Studios – Walt Disney World

The Writer’s Corner – MGM Studios – Walt Disney World This little place is part bookstore and part coffee bar. If you’re from Seattle, as I am, it reminds one of all the coffee places around town. It is also a great place for having a coffee break when it’s too hot or too cold or too wet outside or you just need to get away from the crowd. There isn’t much seating – just one or two tables and…

Sci-Fi Drive In Diner – MGM Studios – Walt Disney World

Sci-Fi Drive In Diner – MGM Studios – Walt Disney World

Sci-Fi Drive In Diner – MGM Studios – Walt Disney World I ate that this restaurant in 2000 and then again in April of 2007. Things haven’t changed much. This time I took my niece (age 14) and nephew (age 18) to this restaurant. They picked it because of the theming. I have to admit the theming is excellent. The premise is that you are going to a drive-in movie and eating in your car while you watch the movie….
