We Need You – WORK FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP!

We are looking for energetic, willful individuals to work for the president of the United States.  You will be working for our President Donald Trump in a fully dedicated capacity where your existence is subordinate to the leadership of the party and the presidency in every way.
Your duties will vary depending upon the needs and whims of the president. Your own concerns over any issues are of no consequence.  You are to offer blind obedience to our leader.  You are to flatter our leader in every situation you find yourself with him.  You are never to contradict our president.
If you are very willing to work in an environment explained in the text above then we want you to consider joining us to make America Great Again.  We need a few really good followers to totally bend to the wishes of our leader so we can move ahead with his plans.  If you think you might qualify for employment with us then look over the following list of requirements that we require.
Here is a list of expected qualifications for employment:
  • You must not be concerned with the truth.
  • Devotion and flattery toward our leader and also step in unison with lower ranking leadership is a requirement.
  • Accept and continue to function with willful ignorance of any contrary facts to those presented to you by our leader and party officials.
  • You must be willing to act according to the values, beliefs and principles of our leader and not your own.
  • If you did poorly in school that does not matter, having a low IQ is preferred.
  • You must prove to us that you have a low interest for the facts.
  • You must accept, with blind obedience, the decisions of people who have offices of authority above you.
  • Being a part of an alleged corrupt organization must not bother you.   We ask for devotion not intellect.
  • If asked to create media propaganda, you must be willing and able to create a believable fiction.
  • Working for Russia is a side function requirement which must not bother you.

Opinion Based On Facts

Trump seems to be hurting the working class in so many different ways. Let us examine some of them.

He and his party recently passed a tax bill that was a smoke and mirror act by claiming it was a universal tax cut but in reality offered tax cuts for the low and middle class while handing huge tax cuts for the very wealthy and corporations.

Trump and his party have called for cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid to help cut the huge national deficit that Trump and the Republicans created by awarding huge tax cuts to the very rich class. The Republican Party’s philosophy is to avoid social support programs because that party seems to represent big business which is all about profits. The second reason for cutting back social programs is it would help balance the national budget. The results would be that the working class would thus gets hit by two negative results.

Trump keeps going full forward and then a little backward for proposed tariffs which most economists tend to believe hurts an economy. Tariffs can directly hurt the people who have to buy products in the United States that come from China.

We have already seen that the US farmers have suffered greatly. This is because our farmers ship a huge amount of product to China. The amount of farm products China exports to the U.S. is much smaller, 3.1 billion (1), then what it imports from America, 5.6 billion (1). This means our farmers really depend upon the Chines market to buy their products and I mean in a really big way.

Cutting back those shipments to China due to Trump’s tariffs, means U.S. farmers have less product to sell. Many farmers borrow money to plant their crops. They can suffer quickly if their crops do not sell. 
Here are some recent farm business trends (2):

  • Net farm income has fallen.
  • Working capital has decreased.
  • Farm debt has steadily increased.
  • Farm bankruptcies are up.

 

Some of the above farm trends started before Trump came too office but he probably has accelerated the trends since coming into office. Once again, President Trump hurts the working class because he fails to turn around the trends that American farmers currently suffer under.

There is a little truth in trying to reign in China from stealing intellectual property. The better solution is to negotiate with China those issues and find solutions and not quickly institute tariffs. It almost seems that the argument of intellectual property theft is an excuse to institute tariffs.

President Trump, to try to give aid to farmers suffering under his tariff’s.  He has proposed giving financial aid of 12 billion (3) which further increases the national debt. “Projections find that the federal government spends about $1,200 per American on interest” toward the national debt per year. The national debt, end of June 2019, stands at $22.023 trillion dollars (4).

How does the rising national debt get resolved? The answer is to raise your taxes (5), another hurt upon the working class.  This means, once again, the working class gets hosed but later down the road so you will not be smart enough to remember who did it to you or better yet a Democrat president is in office and will be made to look bad for having to solve this problem for us.

This is just another example of Trump’s smoke and mirrors actions to have the working class person having to pay more to support the rich class and hiding who and how they did it to you.

What is the reason to take away from the working lower and middle class and give to the wealthy? The reason is that our political system has been taken over by the extremely wealthy individuals, families and corporations. Donald Trump appears to supports that effort.

The tax paying citizens of the United States have once again been shafted as a result of President Trump and his Republican Party into putting forward alleged tax cuts in the form of Tax Cuts and Jobs Act put into effect December 2017. Here are the reasons this is a shame upon the president and his Republican Party:

  • SALT (State And Local Taxes) Deduction — the amount of your state and local taxes that you can deduct from your federal income taxes—is now capped at $10,000.  So, for people who pay a lot of state and local taxes, that is going to cost them money.” Here is a short list of states affected:
      • California
      • New Jersey
      • New York.

Note that the above list of states are Democratic.  Democratic states are typically richer and pay more taxes thus penalized more with this tax “cut”.

  • The home mortgage interest deduction was also capped. Is this a political calculation? You bet it is. Studies have proven that Republican controlled states that are poorer when compared to Democratic controlled states.

  • The resulting deficits will add $1 to $2 trillion to the federal debt, according to official estimates. The debt increase will be larger if some of TCJA’s temporary tax cuts are extended. “Absent dramatic spending cuts, the public debt will continue to grow faster than the economy.”
  • How does the President attempt to pay for this huge increase in the deficit? He wants to starting by cutting Medicare and Medicaid for low-income citizens which might save $200 billion. But, President Trump made a campaign promise, during his 2016 presidential bid, not to cut the popular Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security programs.

Summary: Allegedly, this whole process was put together to hide the real intent to give the plutocracy class, the very rich, vast amount of tax break money. “TCJA will, under the most plausible scenarios, end up making most households worse off than if it had not been enacted.”

With all the recent mass killings in parts of the United States it would be instructive to examine the statistical difference between the number of people killed when President Obama was in office and compare those numbers to those of President Trump to see if we can learn anything.

A pretty good source for this comparison is to examine the data within the study conducted by Mother Jones. It is called US Mass Shootings, 1982-2019.

To properly make a honest comparison, we need to only look at the same number of years both presidents were/are in office. Because President Trump is currently serving his third year in office, this analysis will only compare Obama’s first three years even though he served eight years in office because he was elected to two terms.

When comparing the administration of Barack Obama to that of Donald Trump, with regard to the number of mass shootings in the United States, we can see a huge number of deaths during Trump’s time in office.

  • Obama’s first year in office = 88
  • Obama’s second year in office = 11
  • Obama’s third year in office = 40
  • TOTAL = 139

 

  • Trump’s first year in office = 704
  • Trump’s second year in office = 152
  • Trump’s current year in office = 135
  • TOTAL = 991

 

Obviously, the president of the United States is not normally, directly, responsible for mass shooting deaths.  But, President Donald Trump shows huge number increases for every year he is in office.  So why the huge numbers? Is this just a national trend that he carries no responsibility?  Is the United States just getting more violent?

The answer for some of these deaths increases appears to be President Trump and the Republican Party.   Let’s list some possible factors:

As a result of the latest two mass shootings just one day apart, El Paso Texas and Dayton Ohio, the news media have put the blame on Donald Trump for his lack of clamping down upon white supremacy groups and his racist remarks to embolden white extremist individuals. The leadership of this country, Donald Trump and the Republican Party, just might be responsible for some of our citizens dying.

It is the purpose of Indivisible to ensure that the United States of America is the best nation it can be. A good part of that process is to abide by the guidance given to us by the founding fathers by adhering to the dictates of the US Constitution. Evolving out of the rules set down by the constitution has been a wonderful legal system and also a history of precedence and norms. Precedence is very important because it is a proven path to follow that works. It establishes a principle or rule that has proven to work in the past and thus is very important to follow in the future.  Norms determine the rights and duties of the people who serve us in government.

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, has allegedly, at numerous times, violated the US Constitution, broken the law and gone beyond the limits of precedence and norms. In sum total, this man is a despicable person who seems to only seek benefit for himself and his sycophants.

It is the purpose of Indivisible to oppose Trump’s agenda, and now to acknowledge that he is unfit for office and should be removed.  Because Donald Trump has failed to further the common good, committed criminal acts, and colluded with a foreign country to diminish this country’s standing in world opinion, Indivisible should now support efforts to remove him from office.
