By any measure you can come up with Donald Trump has been a disaster for the United States and possibly the world.  Here are the reasons why:

Due to President Trump’s incompetent inaction in organizing the fight agains the COVOD-19 virus he is responsible for the deaths of 83,717 people (as of 7/21/2020).

Trump lies incessantly.  As of July 21, 2020 he has lied over 20,055 times.

Trump has had a long history of business failures, at least 13.  At least 6 Trump companies have sought bankruptcy protection.

At least 4,095 lawsuits against Donald Trump.

Trump has failed to protect the US Military.

Trump has been accused of sexual misconduct by at least 24 women.

Trump is an alleged bigot.

Trump administration’s performance on refugee and humanitarian protection is awful.

President Trump has created his own secret police.

President Trump has appointed the worst cabinet in American history.  Following are some examples:

• Attorney General William Barr.
• Secretary of education, Betsy DeVos.
• Mick Mulvaney is on a mission to destroy the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

So why are so many citizens of the United States rather unconcerned about having a stupid, self centered, lack of empathy leader?  A partial answer is the Dunning-Kruger effect.
