Ring Devices Fail To Provide Alert Sound On Apple Phone.

I personally have been very frustrated that my Ring cameras only, some times, fail to make an alert sound on my Apple cell phone.

Possible Solution that I discovered: TURN OFF BLUETOOTH.

This sort of makes sense because with bluetooth on, the cell phone is set to send audio to your bluetooth headsets and not your cell phone speaker. Obviously, most of the time you are not wearing a bluetooth earphone so you should remember to go to cell phone Settings and look down to find Bluetooth and view the toggle switch to run Bluetooth on or off:

On if wearing bluetooth headsets. Note that if you are wearing headsets you should hear Ring alerts.
OFF if you want to hear Ring devices from your speaker.

NOTE: The Apple left side slide switch must be ON to allow the Apple cell phone to provide you the Ring audible alerts.

President Donald Trump, The Alleged Contriver

Donald Trump learned to use contrived methods to achieve apparent success from his father. Also, a lot of politicians in this country and foreign nations seem to have embraced contrived methods to achieve political success. Trumps success for inventing apparent contrived methods is almost unparalleled.

A singular contrived method for Donald Trump is a slogan that has seemed to resonate with a lot of citizens.

“Make America Great Again” is a clever contrived pronouncement for putting forward a campaign slogan for the following reasons:

This slogan aspires to achieve a great improvement over what is the current condition of the United States.
It is a very good slogan. “MAGA”. Because this abbreviation implies better, “MAGA”, it sounds to be better, opposite from MINIMAL.
The word MAGA has become a word to represent Trump’s followers, which is really clever and a danger for the country.
MAGA seems to have divided the United States into just another way because now the whole nation realizes that a section of the United States population are within this separate MAGA division. (Trump has been accused of increasing the divisions within the United States).
Trump has a very high score for persuasion.
Most Americans utterly fail to realize that for quite a lot of measured factors, the United States is already a great nation.

“The United States of America is a North American nation that is the world’s most dominant economic and military power. Likewise, its cultural imprint spans the world, led in large part by its popular culture expressed in music, movies and television.”

It is true that the United States really needs to improve more in some more areas of it’s operation.

Finally, because Trump was in office for a single term of four years he did not have to achieve what is expected from “Make America Great Again”.

Summary:

“The fact that Trump did not tear down the major guardrails of democracy does not mean that all is well in the United States. He attracted the support of millions of voters in 2020 and, even more dangerous is the fact that much of the Republican Party still insists on refuting the results of that election and weakening non-partisan election administration in certain states where they hold legislative majorities. Norms have been broken and could yet result in majorities that overturn laws and weaken institutions.”

Possible Contrived Inflation Allegedly To Harm Democratic Election Results

Opinion – Suspicion.

Is there a contrived effort by some really powerful people to hurt the next United States elections agains the Democratic Party and favor the Republican Party?

Let’s look at some obvious suspicions:

Saudi Arabia raised it’s gas prices after President Biden made a trip to Saudi Arabia and met with
Mahammed bin Salman, to ask that prices be lowered. Prices were not lowered.
Corporations are using inflation as an excuse to raise prices and make fatter profits — and it’s making the problem worse
Economist explains record corporate profits despite rising inflation
A FALSE INFLATION: HIGH PRICES ARE BEING DRIVEN BY A FEW CORPORATE GIANTS TRYING TO RAKE IN TOO MUCH PROFIT

Voters are very unhappy with the high inflation facing them. Voters usually blame the current administration, which is Democratic for the high prices. How interesting it seems that some of the most wealthy countries and wealthy corporations are making inflation higher at this current moment.

Health Information

“Fox News is leading viewers to take the COVID less seriously, to skip basic public health measures, to avoid vaccines and to greater illnesses and deaths. Fox News talking heads are not just asking questions, they are leading their viewers to their demise.”

Fear Mongering

“Fox’s approach to news dissemination is a particularly potent brand of political theater. The most common tactic the network employs is fear mongering, particularly against black and brown people, with countless stories on migrant caravans and inner city shootings.”

Bias Reporting

Fox News is “practicing biased reporting in favor of the Republican Party, its politicians, and conservative causes, while portraying the Democratic Party in a negative light.”

Misleading Science News

Fox News is “misleading their audience in relation to science, notably climate change.”

Summary: There are many aspects to become an educated person. Some items that stands out where Fox News fails cultivating the individual properly are practice respect, humility, tolerance and self-criticism, compassion and unbiased knowledge.

Apple Watch Band Recommendation – Otter Box

I had an Android phone, an LG V30, which was a fantastic phone for a very long time. It developed a problem early 2022, that was quite annoying using that LG V30. I decided to buy a new Apple iPhone. I then decided to buy an Apple Watch, Series 7, because it offered very nice marriage features with the cell phone. The two devices were like parent (phone) and child (watch). One of the most surprising events was that when anyone approached my house, I would get an alarm on my watch and view the Ring Camera images of the person on my watch. That was a wonderful shock!

When I purchased the watch I was stuck choosing a watch band that Apple was offering in it’s store. Apple makes great computers and watches but not watch bands, in my opinion. The sales person recommended the magnetic band which is clever to put on because magnets hold the band in place. The band is smooth and comfortable. But, days later, I discovered the watch flew off my wrist more than once because the magnets failed to hold the band securely. You really do NOT want an expensive watch to hit the pavement! I tried another band that had a series of holes on one band side and the other band had protruding pin that you needed to slide under the opposing band and choose the correct hole to put the pin. That band also failed me.

Left band is magnetic, which failed for me. Band attached to watch is Otter Box, my current choice. Two bands on the right (for different wrist size) use a pin which slides into a hole but is awkward to put on.

My Solution: The Otter Box Band for my Apple Watch is shown in the image above. I purchased my Otter Box watch band at Target. The only size they had was marked 42/44mm. The sales person said he was pretty sure it would work, even though it should have been a 45 mm. Note that my watch in the image below is a Series 7, size 45 mm, which is the larger size watch (smaller size Series 7 is the 41mm). I like large image devices. The Otter Box watch band 42/44 fit perfectly.

The Otter Box watch band goes on just like my prior watch bands that I have used for years. One side of the band has holes along the length and the other band has the metal square ring with a locking pin and then a narrow rectangle that slides back and forth to receive the opposing band after it is clipped into place.

This watch band has NEVER allowed my watch to fly off my wrist like the magnetic watch band. This Otter Box band is easy to put on, take off and comfortable to wear. I just love great solutions in my life because they form a more solid foundation for me to depend upon.
