POSSIBLE REASONS PEOPLE SUPPORT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND FASCISM

POSSIBLE REASONS PEOPLE SUPPORT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND FASCISM

It is quit normal to want things your way.  It is a bit more sophisticated to listen to other people’s ideas and wishes and take them into consideration to measure both your ideas with other people’s.

Fascists are typically politicians and individuals who are self centered and want to promote their own selfish gains to achieve rewards at the expense of the broader society.

Fascism seems to be a bit more exciting than the workings of Democracy, thus the attraction for some people.

Fascism appeals to the immature which goes along with low intelligence.

Some people are only concerned with themselves and have little regard for others.  Fascism fits this pretty well.

Some individuals think that having a dictatorship would be more entertaining than the slow quiet plodding of having a Democracy!

Fascism is self centered ideals that negate serving the broad inclusive society.

At the core may be a poor or flawed education.

Very poor history appreciation leading to poor understanding of why fascism is bad for society.

People in the USA read at 6 grade level which flaws one’s education.

According to The Literacy Project, the average American reads at a 7th–8th grade level, which is equivalent to 12–14 years old. However, most content is written at a 10th grade level or higher.

Individuals support white supremacy for self centered ego needs and fail to understand that we are all equal.

Some information organs seem to support fascism.

Christian right beliefs may contribute to beliefs in fascism.

(Book: American Fascists,Chris Hedges, veteran journalist and author of the National Book Award finalist War Is a Force That Gives Us Meaning, challenges the Christian Right’s religious legitimacy and argues that at its core it is a mass movement fueled by unbridled nationalism and a hatred for the open society.)

Reasons To NOT Vote For The Republican Party

Reasons To NOT Vote For The Republican Party

One of the primary, somewhat secret, obligation of the Republican Party is that it functions to enhance the rich class of people, the plutocracy class and not, you, the general population.

“The main reason Billionaires practice stealth politics, Page says, is that taken collectively, their political preferences do not align with what a majority of Americans want.  Their near total silence on issues like taxes and Social Security is “almost certainly deliberate — probably caused mainly by a desire to avoid offense concerning their unpopular political opinions.” This makes it easier for them to avoid being held accountable.”
(Copied from
The New York Times Magazine, With ‘Stealth Politics,’ Billionaires Make Sure Their Money Talks, Published April 6, 2022)

There are reasons why anyone might support a political party which works against the people of the United States.  Let me list a few reasons from the viewpoint of a corrupt politician:

  • Vast amounts of money is offered by the plutocrats to help fund a GOP political campaign.
  • Alleged secret payments of money could be made to be an added incentive.
  • The plutocrats most often possess significant political power, other than money, to help their candidate get elected.
  • Plutocracy philosophy can attract some individuals to follow their mission.

There are a lot of factors that result out of this belief system.  For the reasons listed below, do not vote Republican because that political party mainly works for the betterment of the small group of wealthy individuals and they do not care for what is best for the whole American nation.

The GOP politicians usually receive large donations from their benefactors.  One example is a contrived political action group called the Federalist Society headed by Leonard A. Leo.

The Supreme Court is a big part of this alleged corruption exemplified with the ruling in Citizens United which allows money that is not recorded, thus secretly used, so as to rig the political system in the favor of the rich.

The GOP has become a rather despicable self serving party by working to serve the needs of the plutocracy who, most of the times, works against the best interests of the nation.  Here are just some of the examples of it’s corrupt ideology actions:

Welfare:

“The Republican Party opposes government run welfare programs for the poor, believing it encourages laziness and dependence on the government.”

Bigotry:

Republican attitude toward some segments of the new American population is that those segments are perceived to be below expected normal standards by some minority of individuals.

  1. Immigrants and minorities typically have lower financial success because they are newly arrived and it can take a long time for anyone new to this country to achieve parity.  Immigrants often live quite a distance from the middle and upper class which adds to feelings of distance.
  2. Immigrants and minorities often look a bit different, may speak differently, might dress differently which adds a small perceived factor of fear in the minds of some people.
  3. Group membership within the broad electorate should not be added to by these new “strange” individuals who do not fit perfectly with what the GOP think their group should look like.  This feeling of not connecting, may lead to opinions of bigotry.
  4. Some GOP individuals may be concerned that “my nation” might change from their perceived current norm.  This change comes about by allowing too many of other type individuals to change the current group image in some way.  A small sense of fear that “my country” will change can promote a belief in bigotry.

Women.

The existence of men and women, most of the time, appears to be equal and deemed necessary for the continuation of the humane race.  But women are so different from men in so many ways which can lead to some male sexism, a mild form of bigotry.   It seems that child birth is rather unusual because the birth process is mainly an all women effort and men are just witnesses to the process.  But, for some rather stupid reason, men seem to hold a bigotry belief that they can decide when and how a women can bear a child.  Because a man is a partner with a wife, men do have a voice but for child birth, a husband should realize that he must bow to the needs of his spouse.  Politicians therefore, must allow a women to have an abortion and stay away from this decision process.  Women were created free and should be free to decide their own future.  More Republicans push for abortion bans without rape, incest exceptions.

Race:

Republicans feel that white men are supreme to non whites.  This typically comes from fear of anyone not possessing the same skin color as themselves.  Because the United States population mainly has white skin, silliness sets in over any perceived difference from white.

Republicans some times work to minimize the voting power of minorities in an effort to suppress those who it feels do not fit the perceived mold of what is akin to themselves.  This is rather silly because how a person votes is believed to stem from skin color?

Taxes:

Republicans seemingly most important self serving issue is to lower what the wealthy have to pay in taxes.  In part this is because the super wealthy do have to pay a lot of money out of their vast wealth.  This is a huge concern for the wealthy.  Because the plutocracy seems to work hard to take over the United States from being a democracy and move it to being a fascist state, we should gain control over these pending fascists and raise their taxes so they can no longer use money to overturn our form of government.

Business:

Republicans believe that there should not be any large government programs such as Social Security and Medicare which helps the general population of  citizens but that such programs should be privatized so that some plutocracy business can make a profit for performing that social program. This is just another example of corporate and plutocracy greed.

Unions:

Republicans work to rid and diminish the power of unions because unions work for the interests of the workers and not always for the interests of the business owner.  Unions are viewed, by some plutocrats, as working against the interests of the rich.  A good business person should always examine all aspects of their business to maximize profits.  Working against unions should NOT be one of those efforts because the worker is an integral part of any business and is as important as the owners and managers.

Education:

Republicans seem to show a disdain for higher education administered at the federal level.

The GOP reasons that education should be run by each  state not federal administered.  Problem with this is that this avoids a national standard that all education systems must adhere too.  Too many states seem to be corrupted by the GOP, which is why a national standard is necessary.

Health Care

Gun Control

“The share of voters who support stricter gun control laws has reached a new high, with more than two-thirds of Americans backing them, a new Morning Consult/Politico poll finds.”

GOP Attempts To Control State Elections

The pervasive myths of a stolen 2020 presidential election and widespread voter fraud are still dominant in many state legislatures, as Republican policymakers call for more investigations and reshape election administration in a way that could give them a partisan advantage.

Some Concern That Fascism Is Part Of Republican Party

The actions of some Republicans allied to former President Donald Trump fit the definition of fascism, White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters on Friday, a day after President Joe Biden said they edged toward “semi-fascism.”

Summary

Do not vote for the Republican Party because they work for and support the plutocracy.   Vote GOP is a vote for fascism.  Please save this nation by moving it back toward being a true Democracy again.  Vote for Democratic candidates.  And stay informed.

The Electoral College Needs To Be Eliminated

The Electoral College Needs To Be Eliminated

Opinion

Hillary Clinton won the 2016 presidential popular voting by 2.86 million.  So the people of the United States decided to install that women into being the president of the United States by any competent measure.  But, the retarded, incompetent, flawed, pro fascist, idiotic, despicable electoral college was allowed to change the votes of the American public.  This was a crime against the people.  Members of the electoral college should be punished for their action against the will of the people.  Anyone who supports this existing crap system is a moron or idiot – you choose which.

We need to eliminate the electoral college NOW!

What the electoral college accomplished as a result of their perceived incompetence:

  • Create a more divided country.
  • Put in place an alleged corrupt politician who may well be a criminal.
  • Revealed to the world how the Republican Party is moving away from Democracy and toward fascism.
  • Exposed the number of Republican politicians who failed to hold to personal high standards but instead  followed a cult leader who lacked proper standards to lead this country.
  • More, much, more.

Political Problems From Child Poverty

Political Problems From Child Poverty

This entry is part 1 of 2 in the series Child Poverty

It appears that the Republican Party is in the process of rejecting Democracy because the party has failed to gain power through that normal political process.  So now it appears they only seeks to win elections by changing the state primary voting rules to gain power for little purpose other than welding power for their plutocracy backers.  The United States political problems came from vast child poverty.

I plan to try to prove to you that the problem is not just the Republican politicians but also the American public.  I will attempt to prove to you that income inequality leads to poor education for a vast number of our citizens.  Then those under educated citizens might fail to comprehend what is really taking place in the political sphere.

For example, the Republican Party is failing badly for a number of factors:

  • How is it that so many voters fail to recognize that the Republican candidates are now telling lies and still support a failed president?
  • Why do so many Republican politicians support the big lie that Donald Trump was the real winner of the 2020 election?

A possible significant factor is that the public have not received a significant education so they can properly understand the democratic process.  Let’s attempt to present to you some proof of this happening:

The need for civic education in 21st-century schools:

“… limited civic knowledge of the American public, 1 in 4 of whom, according to a 2016 survey led by Annenberg Public Policy Center, are unable to name the three branches of government.”

Let me show you an example of what happens when education really hits rock bottom:

“The greatest defect in the working of democracy lies in the fact that the masses in whom the power is vested are mostly uneducated, in the third world countries. They do not properly comprehend the political problems of their country and the value of their votes.”

So what exactly causes a lower level of education?

“… every other country that outranks the United States on the PISA test, have in common: lower rates of child poverty.”

These rich countries have high levels of child poverty
Food Insecure

In the chart above, only five countries perform worse than the United States: Latvia, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey and Mexico.

The best and worst performers on child well-being

“Overall, the countries that performed best across the indicators on children’s well-being were the Nordic nations, Germany and Switzerland. At the bottom of the league table were Chile, Bulgaria, Romania, Mexico and the US.”

“… every other country that outranks the United States on the PISA test, have in common: lower rates of child poverty. And poverty is a major factor in how well students perform on the tests.

“October 2020 data analysis by the Center on Poverty & Social Policy (CPSP) at Columbia University monitored monthly poverty estimates, which showed that an additional eight million Americans—including 2.5 million children—have fallen into poverty since May 2020.”

“Socio-economically disadvantaged students across OECD countries are almost three times more likely than advantaged students not to attain the baseline level of proficiency in science,” PISA reported in a 2018 paper.

“A 2013 study by Stanford University researchers found that the U.S. would rank much higher on the PISA test if it weren’t for its higher levels of socioeconomic inequality.”

“It is only possible to understand higher education in the United States in light of the intensified concentration of wealth in the country during the last thirty years. During that time the richest one percent of Americans have come to own more private wealth than the bottom 90 percent; the top ten percent of Americans own 71 percent of all private wealth.”

Summary:  The American public embraced one of the worst presidents in history and many still do follow Donald Trump.  Why?  One possible reason is that a vast number of the American public have been disadvantaged by poverty.  Studies have shown that the United States has one of the highest rates of income inequality.  Individuals and families with low income seem to be getting a poor education as a result.  Studies seem to have proven that students who suffer from having low income do poorly in school.  Doing poor in school then might set the individual up for possibly a less paying job and then:

“They do not properly comprehend the political problems of their country and the value of their votes.”

This then results in a lower educated voting population that may  fail to understand the advantages of having a Democracy over having a dictatorship.  There seems to be a current threat that the United States may be shifting away from being a true Democracy.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, PLEASE TAKE NOTE.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, PLEASE TAKE NOTE.

Young people can generally register to vote if they will turn 18 by the next election.

Why vote? Elections are the mechanism by which citizens select and remove government representatives, giving politicians strong incentives to do right by their constituents.  You have a hand in deciding the course this county takes by voting.  Some opinions reflect that this country is no longer a democracy but a plutocracy.  Help bring back our democracy.

While the legal voting age in the U.S. is 18, voter registration and pre-registration rules and ages are different in every state.  Mouse click on the next link below to find out your state’s requirements.

Having Trouble With Learning Math?

Having Trouble With Learning Math?

A women working at a Starbucks told me that her son was having problems with math.  I said I would try to find a book for her son that might help.   I did find a number of Internet book recommendations but none of the local used book stores or new book sellers had the books I was looking for.  My wife wanted to go to Barnes and Noble Book Store and I took that opportunity to look for what they had in stock.  They only had one book in the kids section which seemed to have good reviews and I purchased it.  I then went into the adult math book section and by chance found an astonishing math book called “Help Your Kids With Math“.    When I was very young my parents purchased an electronic theory book set that instructed the reader mainly with pictures.  Those books helped me become self taught in electronics.  I had never seen a math book teaching the reader by using images like this book.  Even though this book says it is aimed at teaching kids, I bought me a copy.  A few days later I purchased another copy for the Starbucks barista’s son.  I slipped in a letter to this by which I will show you below:

Dear xxxxx,

Your mom told me you are having difficulty in math.  I am giving you this book in the hope it helps you comprehend math in a new visual way.  Some tricks I have learned about problem solving I will now share with you.  First, do not give up.  Second, walk around the problem to view it from a different perspective.  Third, try to understand the problem using different methods.  Fourth, when facing a near impossible problem, turn it into a challenge, a contest.

Some times just going to school and listening to a teacher and reading a school text book will fail you.  Some times you need to seek out a different method if you are not understanding the material.

I am giving you this book because it offers you all of these solutions.  This book shows you all of math visually.  The book should look scary to you beyond the first few chapters.  This is because it shows you the whole math path and you are at its beginning.  Use it as a reference book.  It should help you all your life to “see” math relationships.  I have never seen this method used for math before.  I am really impressed with this book.   I have my own copy.

Why study math?  Math is a language; it is a method; it is a tool; it is a long struggle; it is tough to learn and it offers wonderful rewards when you understand it.  Because it is tough to learn, it can determine how successful you might be in some professions and how much money you will make.  For example, if you can comprehend trigonometry, you can better become a computer game designer.  If you pass calculus you can get a degree in business, engineering and science making $50,000 to $100,000 or more.  If you go further and become an actuary, you should make $150,000 to $250,000 a year.

As you can see, the math path has more rewards the further you can travel its length.  I do hope this book helps you get further.   Please remember not to give up.

Update:  3-6-19:  The web link needed to be replaced because I got a “404 Not Found”.
