A List Of Expected Changes To This Country If Trump Wins

A List Of Expected Changes To This Country If Trump Wins

This entry is part 14 of 15 in the series Donald Trump

From my day to day hearing and viewing news coverage for the upcoming election I was annoyed a bit hearing some people making their decisions, to vote for Trump, based on just a few factors.  I am pretty sure that Donald Trump has a LOT of negative factors as to why you should not vote for him.  I decided to find a prior list and add the elements to  construct a SIMPLE list of reasons.  My intent is to show a LOT of reasons so as to push the reader to act against Trump.

I was looking for lists of reasons why Donald Trump would not be good for this country and started with this magazine article by the Washington Post.  It’s focus seems to be broad meaning how Trump would impact this whole country.  I hope to offer soon another list of reasons why Donald Trump will hurt the individual.:

What Will Happen to America if Trump Wins Again? Experts Helped Us Game It Out.

(Source:  https://www.washingtonpost.com/magazine/2022/10/10/country-after-second-trump-term/)

I sincerely apologize to the author of the article for extrapolating parts of the post.  I really hope this does NOT diminish the writer’s efforts!

HERE IS THE LIST OF REASONS WHY TRUMP WILL BE A DISASTER FOR AMERICA IF ELECTED PRESIDENT:

He will “purge the FBI.  then set about trying to politicize the FBI.”

“strip as many as tens of thousands of federal employees of their civil service protections.”

“…would restore a patronage system that hasn’t existed in the United States since reforms were enacted in the late 19th century.”

He “… would mark the death knell of expertise in the U.S. government.”

“Execute drug dealers.

“Move homeless people to tent cities.”

“Eliminate the Education Department.”

“Restrict voting to one day using paper ballots.”

“profound shifts in military and foreign policy.”

“In a second term, cautionary voices will be fewer”

“remove the safeguards … sometimes mockingly called the ‘adults in the room.’

“expect to see armored troop carriers, soldiers with flashing bayonets and enormous missile launchers stream down Pennsylvania Avenue on Veterans Day as Trump finally gets a military parade.”

“… could restore Confederate symbols to military bases”

“reinstitute an effective ban on transgender people serving, and dismantle ongoing diversity and inclusion efforts that his Senate allies already lampoon as “woke.”

“As for the use of military power abroad, Trump mostly favored withdrawals during his term”

“There’s a higher likelihood that the president would take risky action, but they would be risky actions of retreat, or abandonment of allies … “

“he might just stop the flow of arms, ammunition and material to Kyiv.”

“Trump’s election, means the end of the Western alliance.”

“a ruinous blow to the country’s stature in the eyes of friends and foes.”

“… no longer being willing to respect norms and institutions that are essential to good governance.”

“key allies may be loath to share top secrets.”

“If Trump is in power again, after four years, many … people won’t ever trust us again.”

“Trump’s reelection would be another sign the country is “spiraling down” into a “post-truth” era.”

“Trump has been able to add to the narrative that if democracy doesn’t deliver what I want, then it must be a flaw in the democracy,”

“a decade-long decline in political and civil rights in the United States that accelerated during Trump’s term, putting us on par with Romania and Panama.”

“America is already gripped by an unprecedented level of what political scientists call “pernicious polarization” — stoked and exploited by Trump — and a second Trump term could make it dangerously worse”

“The most immediate concern of Trump returning to the presidency is it would provide the greatest domestic terrorist threat of our time.”

“harsh measures to counter illegal immigration.”

“Dehumanizing rhetoric and conspiracy theories about White people losing their status will lead to more mass shootings targeting immigrants.”

“serious damage to the democracy may be inevitable either way if Trump is on the ballot.”

“ you’re going to see populations sorting themselves out according to where people feel safe and at home, which will mean red states becoming more red and blue states becoming more blue.”

“Upholding Democracy in the Age of the Big Lie.”

““What if the ties that bind us have become so weak that even that can’t result in the enforcement of federal court rulings?”

“If someone like Trump … comes into office with a clear contempt for the rule of law, which I think time and again he has demonstrated, at what point does the rule of law evaporate?”

“The chances of civil war increase.”

“ A narrow or dubious Trump victory would inspire massive, potentially violent protests on the left.”

““Folks on the right think that chaos is a button that they push.”

“The spiral of violence, response and counter-response would create the kind of disorder that Trump — no longer constrained by his secretary of defense and attorney general — could use to justify invoking the Insurrection Act. Then federal troops would flood the streets of American cities.”

“ … his reelection could wreck democracy.”

Empirical Indicator Of Some US Republicans Working For Russia?

This entry is part 4 of 5 in the series Republican Party

Roll Call 88 | Bill Number: H. Res. 149

MAR 19, 2024, 07:01 PM | 118TH CONGRESS, 2ND SESSION

On Motion to Suspend the Rules and Agree, as Amended

Condemning the illegal abduction of children from Ukraine to the Russian Federation

 2/3 Yea-And-Nay

 Passed

A total of nine House Republicans — and zero House Democrats — voted to approve declaring that Russia committed the crime of  kidnapping of Ukrainian children!   At least 19,000 children are still abducted, stolen, according to Ukrainian officials.   The real number is believed to be much higher.

  1. Andy Biggs of Arizona
  2. Eric Burlison of Missouri
  3. Warren Davidson of Ohio
  4. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia
  5. Clay Higgins of Louisiana
  6. Thomas Massie of Kentucky
  7. Matt Rosendale of Montana
  8. Chip Roy of Texas
  9. Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin

Why support this Russian crime?

Putin stole the children for propaganda purposes.

Why then did the 9 Republicans seem to support this Russian crime?

February 14, 2014, A Horrible War Starts.

Vladimir Putin, the current ruler of Russia, started a war with Ukraine, a neighboring country.  Putin started this war by claiming that Ukraine needed to be demilitarized and de-Nazified.  On the very face of it, this is a stupid lie.

Estimates for how many people have been killed can be found here:  Russian War With Ukraine.

So it appears that a single Russian man with the name Putin, has the following flawed personality traits that makes him one of the worst “humane” beings ever existing on earth.  Here is a partial list describing this awful man:

    • Abhorrent,
    • Deceitful,
    • Dishonest,
    • Disgusting,
    • Crude,
    • Cruel,
    • Criminal,
    • Frightful,
    • Ghastly,
    • Gruesome,
    • Heinous,
    • Hideous,
    • Horrid,
    • Horrendous,
    • Intolerant,
    • Killer,
    • Lousy,
    • Murderer,
    • Selfish,
    • Self-centered,
    • Scandalous,
    • Stupid,
    • Unsophisticated.

It sort of follows that the Russian people carry with them also being responsible for the death of Russian soldiers as well as Ukrainian military and civilians.  This whole situation is wrong and individuals that promote this war  should be despised.

Putin And Russian People Are Responsible For Massive Deaths And Suffering In Ukraine

Putin And Russian People Are Responsible For Massive Deaths And Suffering In Ukraine

Opinion:

Slava Ukraini

Now let me get this straight and correct about the current leader of Russia, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.

Cockroach Putin has a rather long past history of being a corrupt person.  Some commentators refer to him as being a mafia boss.  He is quite similar to Donald Trump in that both people appear to be incredibly self centered.

Cockroach Putin is a killer and war criminal as shown below.  But, the Russian people allow this alleged cretin scum sucking bag to rule their country.  This does not portray the Russian people as being knowledgeable, concerned, compassionate, and responsible for the actions made in the name of Russia.  Their country appears to be something of a cesspool, devoid of any aspects of humaneness with this current invasion of Ukraine.

It would appear that the Russian people are ultimately to blame for not putting a stop to Putin for past, current and his future crimes.

Here is just a partial list of him being a murderer or participating in murder:

“… in 1999, he almost certainly approved, and perhaps even orchestrated, the bombings of two apartment buildings in Moscow, in which hundreds of innocent Russians lost their lives.”

“… reignite the Second Chechen War, in which he launched a massive air and land campaign that produced thousands of refugees, reduced much of the Chechen capital Grozny to rubble and killed at least 25,000 civilians.”

“Putin has funded, promoted, supplied and aided and abetted the Russian and pro-Russian terrorists in eastern Ukraine. Thus far, that war has taken 10,000 lives.”

“Putin’s proxies who shot down Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 on July 17, 2014, killing 298 innocent people aboard.”

“Russia’s ruthless bombing of Syria’s civilian population”

Alleged mysterious killings attributed to Putin:

      • Alexander Litvinenko
      • Anna Politkovskaya
      • Boris Nemtsov
      • Sergei Magnitsky
      • Natalia Estemirova
      • Sergei Yushenkov
      • Paul Klebnikov
      • Stanislav Markelov
      • Anastasia Baburova

12 opposition leaders from various parts of the former Soviet Union have also been killed in mysterious circumstances in Turkey.”

Russia declared war with Ukraine February 24, 2022.  Military and civilian portions of Ukraine are being attacked.

Statistics for Ukraine:

      • Civilian deaths:  3,393 killed (3-23-2022).  Among the 331 killed were 19 children.  (Measured March 4, 2022)
      • Injured: 675
      • More than one million people have left Ukraine.

Statistics for Russia:

      • 14,000 soldiers killed (3-23-2022)
      • 1,597 wounded.

Protester marching with posters Support Ukraine Save Peace in Europe. Prostest against Russian agression. Helsinki, Finland, 7.02.2022

Rough total death total attributed to Putin and the Russian people:  73,641. (This number is a low approximation)

The Russian people should punish this alleged criminal, cockroach Putin, to the full extent by removing him from power and placing him on trial.

It would serve Russia and the rest of the world greatly to see cockroach Putin removed from power and even existence, that is if the Russian people feel any ounce of responsibility for the crimes being committed in his name, under his tacit command with no corrective actions taken by the Russian people.

A Russian entrepreneur who offered a $1 million bounty for the arrest of Russian President Vladimir Putin says he posted the reward because he wants to solidify Putin’s public image as a war criminal.

There is now even some concern that cockroach Putin just might have a level of dementia due to his current incursion into Ukraine because such an action fails to reward Russia in any way, an utterly stupid attack.

The people of the world should send a message to the Russian people that they are responsible for these despicable actions by allowing their retarded leader to invade and kill Ukrainian people.  It is recommended that we all follow the following actions:

  • Do not support any Russian business.
  • Do not send any aid of any sort to any Russian business, charity or person.
  • Do not talk to any Russian person except to voice your anger and concerns against Putin.
  • Do even more than listed here to show our solidarity with the Ukrainian people and NOT cockroach Putin.

Why Brexit Is based on Ignorance

Why Brexit Is based on Ignorance

OPINION:

Let me outline why Brexit is based on ignorance. The list I provide is not in any order of importance:

British self importance, born out of their past feats of empire and now that empire diminished, has led to a nation feeling less being a sole powerful nation. Britain was once the whole puzzle while now it is just a piece of the puzzle. Britain was once in control of everything Britain and controlled a very large empire. Now, as part of the EU, it has been forced to minimized their national ego by being just a part of a larger organization. For some, leaving the EU places the destiny of England back into the hands of the people and that is the attraction for some voters. Problem with this thinking is that the world has changed and people need to shift with it. Alliances thwart war. Alliances increase commerce and thus national economic growth and help individual prosperity. No borders should be the new norm between nations. This is the reason why young people have an advantage of not being stuck with what may have been correct in the past for England. The younger voter rejected Brexit as has been measured in studies.

Immigration “problem” is seen as being out of Britain’s control when the EU demands open borders. The EU nations share open inter-state borders as part of the Schengen Agreement, allowing free flow of people between nations

The major influx has come from non Christian nations of Africa and parts of the Arab world. Open borders threaten the religious purity because those coming from Africa and the middle east typically embrace Islam, not Christianity. Then there is the white supremacist population that looks down upon anyone not of the same culture.

The Brexit vote reveals a very common pattern throughout the world where rural voters are less sophisticated, even less intelligent, not from IQ but from lack of education and way less interaction with other cultures as is the case in cities. This “problem” has been in place in Turkey, United States, Philippines and other nations.

The rural less intelligent vote is partly responsible for the rise of right wing movements toward totalitarianism. The “ME” feelings gives the citizen a stronger sense of self and results in the feeling of us being protected against them. This plays into the hands of the right wing politicians of any country as this base of me first supporters can be very resolute and a core adherent for a politician.  Donald Trump and the US Republican Party is a very good example of a politician and party gaining resolute adherence from the white supremacist element.

Rural voters may be more prejudice than city dwellers because rural folk have way less contact with different background people. This has possibly led some voters to think in terms of raising borders again:

Once again, the feelings of ME against the OTHERS is attractive to some voters.

Young voters are more sophisticated than their parents for a number of reasons. The young have left colleges and universities with fresh knowledge and in some cases better facts and fresher outlooks. The young have less ties with the past mainly because they just landed here and have newer views of their environment. The young have accepted more the new forms of social media, which alone is a significant force upon the citizens.

“The broad consensus among economists is that Brexit will likely reduce the UK’s real per capita income in the medium term and long term, and that the Brexit referendum itself had damaged the economy.” (Wikipedia)

Summary: The British were sold the Brexit idea from the old guard, individuals that apparently may have self serving and flawed, skewed views of their country’s destiny. This rather ignorant idea started from politicians who have ideological beliefs rather than humanistic goals. Then, it got traction with the general public due to societal flaws, outlined above, deficiencies that are shared with many other nations such as rural ignorance, me vs we politics, national pride, etc.

European Trip Photo Mistakes and Correct Decisions

European Trip Photo Mistakes and Correct Decisions

I took my first trip to Europe, June 2014.  We traveled to Amsterdam, Germany and Austria.  The Germany and Austria part of the trip was with Trafalgar Tours.  I really was looking forward to taking a lot of pictures and short movies.  Being my first trip to Europe, I had no clue what to do and not to do with a whole lot of issues.  Here is my good and bad list:

Correct Decisions

  • I decided to buy a new Nikon camera body, D5300, instead of using my Nikon D3000 or buying a D7100.  The D5300, for me was a perfect vacation camera.  The pixel resolution blew the socks off of the D3000.  It also was perfect for quickly switching between still and motion picture.  The one problem I did have was that in motion picture mode, I learned that I had to t use still image to focus and then switch over to motion picture, otherwise, shots were out of focus.
  • I agonized over whether to take a telephoto lens.  My daughter and a friend recommended not taking one because if I shoot high resolution images I can very often crop which results in a zoom in with Lightroom.  This was a perfect decision because I found very few times that I really wanted to use a telephoto and the Lightroom crop seemed to work most of the time.
  • Taking a 64 GB SD card and never deleting any images off that card was really smart.  I also had a 32 GB SD card that I had to use because I shot over three thousand images in two weeks.  I also took a Macbook Air with an external 1 TB hard drive.  I downloaded all my images to both computer and hard drive so I would have three copies of each photo image.
  • The GPS feature supplied with the Nikon D5300 really attracted me because I just love new technology.  For some of my photo shoot I did turn GPS on.  It really drains the battery.  I now wished I had turned it on all the time.  The reason is that I am using Lightroom Photoshop 5.  This program has a Map tab which shows you approximate location for each of your images.  I took over three thousand photographs.  Let me tell you that I had a real mess on my hands trying to figure out where each image was taken.  The Map feature really speeds up the catalog process.

For Your Consideration

  • I purchased a SD card wallet and never used it.  If you decide to take a bunch of SD cards with you that are small in memory size, this might be necessary.  I put my backup SD card in my travel wallet.  An Australian friend that was on the trip with us had the view that you use small SD cards in case one goes bad, you are not out a lot of images.  I just did not want to deal with managing different SD cards so i went with 32 and 64 GB cards.
  • I had just purchased a Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 lens from a friend for a very good price.  This lens was for a full frame chip so it had a slight magnification factor.  This meant that it was not as wide angle as you would suspect.  The lens was faster than my kit lenses and a bit wider angle which really helps.  I really recommend that you take a wide angle lens that is fast, meaning it lets in a lot of light.  During any tour, you most likely will be in some dark places and most museums will not allow flash.

Mistakes

  • Turning on the date and time was a huge mistake on my Nikon D5300.  Make darn sure you set the time zone and set the correct time when you arrive in the country that you are visiting if you use date time stamp or not.  You really want the metadata to be accurate.  Then double check the time that appears in a test image with the local time.  If you need to turn date time on for some reason, really understand where the date time stamp will appear in your images and you can not easily remove it,  Seriously consider widen out your shots enough so this information is below peoples feet, below statues base, below the bottom of buildings enough so when you go into Lightroom, you can crop the date time stamp out of any shot.  My daughter found a Photoshop solution for removing the date and time stamp and she plowed through most of my images removing that flaw.
  • Not checking my images and movies at the end of the day was a serious mistake.  When shooting movies I held my lens cap with the same hand as the one cradling my lens.  The cap made a ticking noise when it hit the side of the lens.  I also had the tendency to not hold my camera level.  A good example of this can be seen here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9_ttkq22ig

The above video was shot full wide angle and I did not use the tilt screen but shot totally wild, meaning that I used NO viewfinders.  What was nice about this method  is most everyone that saw me with the camera did not know I was doing a video .
  • Not realizing that my Tamron 17-50mm F/2.8 lens would not easily and smoothly zoom in and out during filming was a real disappointment.
  • Not taking pictures of each person on the tour and identifying them during the trip really added hours of research time when I got home.  When I got back, it took me days of looking at my images and blowing them up to read the name tags.   I still have not identified all the people on the tour.
  • Leaving my second camera battery at home was really stupid.  I had to buy a new backup battery in Germany.  Because I turned on GPS, shot a lot of images and took a lot of movies, a single battery was not enough.
  • I tried to take pictures of all the people taking our tour with us but some individuals really did not appear in most of my shots.  I really need to improve upon this in any future tour.
  • For some reason, I failed to understand the name of some of the places we visited.  I later found out that our tour itinerary did not adequately identify some of the places we stopped at.  I really recommend that you use GPS and shoot images of building names and street corner signs when possible.  My wife took really terrific notes and this helped to identify some of the places we visited and particular shots taken inside museums.
