Reasons To NOT Vote For The Republican Party

Reasons To NOT Vote For The Republican Party

One of the primary, somewhat secret, obligation of the Republican Party is that it functions to enhance the rich class of people, the plutocracy class and not, you, the general population.

“The main reason Billionaires practice stealth politics, Page says, is that taken collectively, their political preferences do not align with what a majority of Americans want.  Their near total silence on issues like taxes and Social Security is “almost certainly deliberate — probably caused mainly by a desire to avoid offense concerning their unpopular political opinions.” This makes it easier for them to avoid being held accountable.”
(Copied from
The New York Times Magazine, With ‘Stealth Politics,’ Billionaires Make Sure Their Money Talks, Published April 6, 2022)

There are reasons why anyone might support a political party which works against the people of the United States.  Let me list a few reasons from the viewpoint of a corrupt politician:

  • Vast amounts of money is offered by the plutocrats to help fund a GOP political campaign.
  • Alleged secret payments of money could be made to be an added incentive.
  • The plutocrats most often possess significant political power, other than money, to help their candidate get elected.
  • Plutocracy philosophy can attract some individuals to follow their mission.

There are a lot of factors that result out of this belief system.  For the reasons listed below, do not vote Republican because that political party mainly works for the betterment of the small group of wealthy individuals and they do not care for what is best for the whole American nation.

The GOP politicians usually receive large donations from their benefactors.  One example is a contrived political action group called the Federalist Society headed by Leonard A. Leo.

The Supreme Court is a big part of this alleged corruption exemplified with the ruling in Citizens United which allows money that is not recorded, thus secretly used, so as to rig the political system in the favor of the rich.

The GOP has become a rather despicable self serving party by working to serve the needs of the plutocracy who, most of the times, works against the best interests of the nation.  Here are just some of the examples of it’s corrupt ideology actions:

Welfare:

“The Republican Party opposes government run welfare programs for the poor, believing it encourages laziness and dependence on the government.”

Bigotry:

Republican attitude toward some segments of the new American population is that those segments are perceived to be below expected normal standards by some minority of individuals.

  1. Immigrants and minorities typically have lower financial success because they are newly arrived and it can take a long time for anyone new to this country to achieve parity.  Immigrants often live quite a distance from the middle and upper class which adds to feelings of distance.
  2. Immigrants and minorities often look a bit different, may speak differently, might dress differently which adds a small perceived factor of fear in the minds of some people.
  3. Group membership within the broad electorate should not be added to by these new “strange” individuals who do not fit perfectly with what the GOP think their group should look like.  This feeling of not connecting, may lead to opinions of bigotry.
  4. Some GOP individuals may be concerned that “my nation” might change from their perceived current norm.  This change comes about by allowing too many of other type individuals to change the current group image in some way.  A small sense of fear that “my country” will change can promote a belief in bigotry.

Women.

The existence of men and women, most of the time, appears to be equal and deemed necessary for the continuation of the humane race.  But women are so different from men in so many ways which can lead to some male sexism, a mild form of bigotry.   It seems that child birth is rather unusual because the birth process is mainly an all women effort and men are just witnesses to the process.  But, for some rather stupid reason, men seem to hold a bigotry belief that they can decide when and how a women can bear a child.  Because a man is a partner with a wife, men do have a voice but for child birth, a husband should realize that he must bow to the needs of his spouse.  Politicians therefore, must allow a women to have an abortion and stay away from this decision process.  Women were created free and should be free to decide their own future.  More Republicans push for abortion bans without rape, incest exceptions.

Race:

Republicans feel that white men are supreme to non whites.  This typically comes from fear of anyone not possessing the same skin color as themselves.  Because the United States population mainly has white skin, silliness sets in over any perceived difference from white.

Republicans some times work to minimize the voting power of minorities in an effort to suppress those who it feels do not fit the perceived mold of what is akin to themselves.  This is rather silly because how a person votes is believed to stem from skin color?

Taxes:

Republicans seemingly most important self serving issue is to lower what the wealthy have to pay in taxes.  In part this is because the super wealthy do have to pay a lot of money out of their vast wealth.  This is a huge concern for the wealthy.  Because the plutocracy seems to work hard to take over the United States from being a democracy and move it to being a fascist state, we should gain control over these pending fascists and raise their taxes so they can no longer use money to overturn our form of government.

Business:

Republicans believe that there should not be any large government programs such as Social Security and Medicare which helps the general population of  citizens but that such programs should be privatized so that some plutocracy business can make a profit for performing that social program. This is just another example of corporate and plutocracy greed.

Unions:

Republicans work to rid and diminish the power of unions because unions work for the interests of the workers and not always for the interests of the business owner.  Unions are viewed, by some plutocrats, as working against the interests of the rich.  A good business person should always examine all aspects of their business to maximize profits.  Working against unions should NOT be one of those efforts because the worker is an integral part of any business and is as important as the owners and managers.

Education:

Republicans seem to show a disdain for higher education administered at the federal level.

The GOP reasons that education should be run by each  state not federal administered.  Problem with this is that this avoids a national standard that all education systems must adhere too.  Too many states seem to be corrupted by the GOP, which is why a national standard is necessary.

Health Care

Gun Control

“The share of voters who support stricter gun control laws has reached a new high, with more than two-thirds of Americans backing them, a new Morning Consult/Politico poll finds.”

GOP Attempts To Control State Elections

The pervasive myths of a stolen 2020 presidential election and widespread voter fraud are still dominant in many state legislatures, as Republican policymakers call for more investigations and reshape election administration in a way that could give them a partisan advantage.

Some Concern That Fascism Is Part Of Republican Party

The actions of some Republicans allied to former President Donald Trump fit the definition of fascism, White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters on Friday, a day after President Joe Biden said they edged toward “semi-fascism.”

Summary

Do not vote for the Republican Party because they work for and support the plutocracy.   Vote GOP is a vote for fascism.  Please save this nation by moving it back toward being a true Democracy again.  Vote for Democratic candidates.  And stay informed.

The Electoral College Needs To Be Eliminated

The Electoral College Needs To Be Eliminated

Opinion

Hillary Clinton won the 2016 presidential popular voting by 2.86 million.  So the people of the United States decided to install that women into being the president of the United States by any competent measure.  But, the retarded, incompetent, flawed, pro fascist, idiotic, despicable electoral college was allowed to change the votes of the American public.  This was a crime against the people.  Members of the electoral college should be punished for their action against the will of the people.  Anyone who supports this existing crap system is a moron or idiot – you choose which.

We need to eliminate the electoral college NOW!

What the electoral college accomplished as a result of their perceived incompetence:

  • Create a more divided country.
  • Put in place an alleged corrupt politician who may well be a criminal.
  • Revealed to the world how the Republican Party is moving away from Democracy and toward fascism.
  • Exposed the number of Republican politicians who failed to hold to personal high standards but instead  followed a cult leader who lacked proper standards to lead this country.
  • More, much, more.

A Lawyer’s Lesson

A Lawyer’s Lesson

I had a rather long chat with a lawyer who I will call Mr. C.  He has partially retired from plaintive law in Southern California, United States.  I had seen him at the gym for years but had never got to talk to him very deeply.  This day, December 29, 2015, he shared with me his past history briefly.  His family was Italian and he lived in an Italian community in Rhode Island, United States.  Most of the community members had not gone to college. His family did not expect him to go beyond high school.  He did get good grades in school.  No one ever talked to him to suggest that he go on to college.  He decided to join the high school football team and started out being on the first team.  As the season progressed he failed to get better and slowly receded into being played less.  Next year he made the first team again.  His message was that for whatever reason he never gave up.    He enlisted into the Navy ROTC and asked that his summer cruse be in Europe.  He was assigned to Sicily, Italy.  He had not yet moved to Southern California but his trip to Sicily with its wonderful weather would soon be a measure by which he favored Southern California.  His sister and her husband lived in Southern California and he soon moved there.  He got a job at an insurance company.  The insurance company would pay for any schooling that related to the type of work they were doing.   For whatever reason Mr C decided to take law classes.  He was a very shy person, sitting at the back of the class and afraid to participate in class.  He got his law degree and was scared to stand before a jury to argue his first case.  He put together two arguments that he had to present to the jury in his first trail.  One argument was very short in case he felt too scared and just wanted to end his presentation early.  The second argument notes was much longer.  On the day of the trial he went on for about twenty minutes giving his arguments to the jury.  I sensed that he was rather proud that he chose to stand up so long to give his client the better delivery.  He had a point in telling me his story.  He told me that he never gives up.  I told him that I really appreciate his lesson because I too had practice this and I think, for me, it was out of fear.  I was always fearful that I would fail.  For me failure might mean loosing my job or less income.  When I would walk into a video control room and had to repair a system failure I had learned to just keep at it, never quit.  I also learned to attack any problem by first analyzing all the possible possibilities and attacking each one in order of probability.  I liken this to circling or walking around a problem.  Some times I actually do walk around to get different views of what I have to deal with.  I even extend this to my technology studies.  I might get a book on a subject I am interested in but if it is difficult to understand, I will buy the item to use it, put together a kit if appropriate, look for other learning options so that I effectively circle the problem and attack it from multiple views.  I think this is because I am not too bright and I need to get the subject into my brain by multiple means.  This article, I hope, sends you a lesson.  Try to not give up.  Your self esteem and what other people think of you and possible job security depend upon this.  It is not bad to be afraid some times.  Sometimes fear is a motivator.  For me it definitely is.

Ian Masters Radio Show Segment: The Magnificent Seven with Professor Lawrence Wilkerson

Ian Masters Radio Show Segment: The Magnificent Seven with Professor Lawrence Wilkerson

Lawrence Wilkerson, the former Chief of Staff to United States Secretary of State Colin Powell joins Ian Masters to discuss his article at The Huffington Post “The Magnificent Seven”  What is shocking in the radio segment is Mr. Wilkerson is candid and seemingly honest in his evaluation of the Republican Party.  The most shocking view that he puts forth is that one of the Republican Party’s problem with President Obama is black prejudice.  I have suspected this for a long time but it seems that most everyone fails to talk about it.  What is more shocking is Mr. Wilkerson’s prediction if the Republicans take the white house and keep exercising personal self serving policies that only enrich the Republican oligarchs, the United States will fall into decay.

[Update: December 7, 2017, Ian Masters has moved his web site and I found that this radio show segment is not available currently.]  Listen to the radio show segment “The Magnificent Seven”

E-mail from Score Card to Professor Wilkerson:

WOW!  I listen to your segment with Ian Masters entitled “The Magnificent Seven” and you really come across as honest, intelligent and knowledgeable about what ails the United States.  You really do not state your mind bluntly.   I just love that.  I have suspected for quite a long time that Republicans are prejudice against blacks.  What is sort of disturbing, if true, is no one seems to want to mention this possibility.  You are the first one to bring this up (in my world).  Thank you again in a different perspective as it firms my blog approach (I am a blogger).   I am really disturbed in contemplating that a large segment of the United States population is simply stupid and if so, what do you do with that problem?  Thank you for sharing your views.  I hope to hear more from you.  Start a blog or better yet, write a current world situation book.

Professor Wilkerson’s reply:

Thank you for taking the time to wrote to me and to express your support and your views.  Our Founders were concerned about the same matter, i.e., how does one keep the electorate–the people–knowledgeable, competent, and able to cast a smart vote, or even ensure that the candidates available are the right ones for the positions, local, state, and national.   Thomas Jefferson actually stated that such was the reason he and others founded the University of Virgina and, as you may know, Jefferson had that founding put on his gravestone. It was one of his proudest achievements.  Jefferson also was a slaveholder, one who had sexual relations with his dead wife’s half-sister, Sally Hemmings, a slave herself–sexual relations that led to several children.  None of us is perfect, in other words.  We just have to keep trying.  I believe Jefferson was right about education.  It is the most important answer to the question of how to keep a democracy sound.  Ours is weak right now primarily because the people are weak–and they are weak primarily because there are so many among us who are ignorant, uneducated, and therefore vulnerable to the political charlatans like Ted Cruz and Tom Cotton.

Thanks again for writing.

Google Allegidly Denies Proper Adsense Control.

Google Allegidly Denies Proper Adsense Control.

This web site has been in existence since 2006.  The web site started just after taking a web development class at a California State university.  The class was excellent.  Some time, not sure when, I enrolled in Google’s Adsense.  This is an application where you can join Google and they will help place their managed advertisements into your web site and pay you some small amount of money for showing their advertisements.  A web site can begin costing you just over fifty dollars a year including domain name registration or more depending upon how smart your decisions are setting up your web site.  I was hoping that Adsense might help me defray some of my hosting fees.  This process began running off the rails when I used my university e-mail.  At the time, I was a full time staff member.  I was totally unaware that, probably because I had take that web site class, the university made a student e-mail account for me.  When I signed up for Google Adsense I used my supposed staff e-mail which had the same user name but apparent different passwords.  For some incredibly stupid reason, the unknown by me, my student e-mail may have been substituted instead of my staff e-mail into the Adsense process.  The alleged criminal act of theft took place at some point when Google assumed that a student account could not own a web site.  By having a “.edu” at the end of my e-mail account and apparently having that e-mail arise out of a university student list suddenly makes it the property of the university?  What an incredible conclusion and near criminal theft.  Does this mean that the university now owns my car and home because I have an .edu at the end of my e-mail address?  How colossal stupid can you get?

Web site looses Google Adsense account to state university
Google Adsense account login is diverted to a state university

To try to regain possession of my Adsense account, I am prompted to follow a series of steps starting at the Google Adsense web page.   After I finish doing the Adsense login, I am told that “Your Google Account is managed by xxx.edu.  I am then sent to the university student portal and then to the a web page entitled Google Apps where it dead ends.  I am told to contact the university Google Account Manager.  The university does not have one.  The reason for this is student e-mail accounts were shut down on the university servers years ago and transferred to Google.

I continually run into this prejudice where students are not thought to be adults by universities and businesses.  They switch views when students pay their fees or students come in with their parents.  Now I see that Google allegidly may have same prejudice against students.

August 18, 2018 a few days after putting up this post, an IT person at my university who I respect,  called to inform me that this problem was all Google’s fault.  Google allegedly assumes that if you are a student at a college or university that your web site creations are the property of the university if you use your student e-mail.  I thus lost control of my Adsense account because Google saw my Adsense login as being a student.  If Google did indeed take this approach, how utterly imbecilic, moronic, halfwitted or if you did not get the meaning of those prior terms, stupid!

The university campus IT person advised me to use another Adsense account which I had already done to bypass this problem.  But, any profit in the old account, I will never know about.   Banks and airlines tack on fees to gain extra profit.  Google, allegedly, only needs to obfuscate and be stupid in its policies to gain profit.

If anyone else runs into problems with Google Adsense, there is another option for you to consider.   Individual companies want their advertisements placed into your web site.  This process is typically called “affiliate program”.  If you look at the bottom of each page of this web site, you will see two affiliate advertisements.  One is from Linksky and the other from Namecheap.  I use both those products to help serve this web site for you.  Just read carefully how each program works.  Some of your best paying affiliate offers require that you read page after page of legal stipulations.  I advise you to read every word and abide by their requirements.

Customer Interface Is Friendly But Slightly Flawed Process

Customer Interface Is Friendly But Slightly Flawed Process

A student with a medical problem could not attend the first day of classes at Santiago Canyon College, a junior college in Orange California. The student sent all the faculty she was to take classes from e-mail notifying them that she may not be able to attend the first day of class. The notification was sent on Friday before the Monday classes began, thinking she was giving two days notice. Two of the faculty, allegedly, did not read their e-mail and gave the student’s classroom seat to other students. The faculty claimed they did not have enough time to read all their e-mail.

This blog sent the college a request for their drop policy. The request was made August 25, 2011 and no reply has yet been received.

We do rate this college extremely high for friendliness. It seems that the college president has mandated a friendly policy which is most apparent when you interact with any of the college staff and faculty.  It is our opinion that they really need to provide a more friendly business process.
