The “Supreme” Court ruling that public unions can not require workers to pay union dues seems to be following the fascist play book. If we look at the fourteen point definition for determine what fascism is, we see that the “Supreme” Court, once again, has worked toward this end:
- Powerful and continuing expressions of nationalism.
- Disdain for the importance of human rights.
- Identification of enemies/scapegoats as a unifying cause.
- The supremacy of the military/avid militarism.
- Rampant sexism.
- A controlled mass media.
- Obsession with national security.
- Religion and ruling elite tied together.
- Power of corporations protected.
- Power of labor suppressed or eliminated. (The organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government).
- Disdain and suppression of intellectuals and the arts.
- Obsession with crime and punishment.
- Rampant cronyism and corruption.
- Fraudulent elections.
(The above list is from Laurence W. Britt).
The “Supreme” Court has taken point number 10, in the list above,

Something seems rather odd with the recent decision to eliminate two US Navy combat camera units as reported at Navy Times.
“The Navy will eliminate it’s two combat camera units by Oct. 1 in an effort to cut costs and eliminate billets, Navy Times has learned.”
“… the communities they served have found alternative ways to meet their needs.”
“Between the two combat camera units, one of which is based in Norfolk and one in San Diego, the cuts will eliminate four active-duty officer, 50 active-duty enlisted and 31 reserve enlisted billets.”
What seems odd with this decision:
For years I have heard that combat camera persons were not being given up to date digital cameras. Cameras also seemed hard to get in the soldiers hands to use. The training for operating digital cameras appeared, to me, to be inadequate.
Is this a case of making a unit look like it can be done away by not providing the training and tools? The rational that this cutback “is an effort to cut costs” seems suspicious when you realize that the US spends more on defense than the next eight countries added together. This is obviously a priorities issue as outlined in The Balance’s article: U.S. Military Budget: Components, Challenges, Growth. Why Military Spending Is Bigger Than You Think.
As priorities go, procurement and modernization of weapons system does feed the vastly influential corporate beast.
The Trump Organization – A Racketeering Enterprise?
The following open paragraph is from a research document conducted by ©2018 Tom Adams and Dennis Aftergut.
Investments by Donald Trump and the Trump Organization reveal patterns highly suggestive of criminal conduct, particularly of money laundering. Multiple publicly available sources report that Trump regularly had investment partners who were criminals and had consistent links to money laundering entities.

The current form of government of the United States is currently being attacked by a vast fifth column of lemmings being paid by some of the nation’s oligarchs to rewrite the US Constitution so they can gain even more political control, maybe absolutely, gain more wealth, control any related government activities to their liking and rape the common citizens of their rights, their future, their country.
Proof that this is actually taking place:

In a conversation with my sister about the crazy US politics, I asked her if she watches CNN TV? Her answer is no. I asked why and she replied that she hates to hear people talk over one another. She is correct. I agree! It is rude. I want to hear each person’s complete statement. I do not want anyone talking over another which interferes with my making out what is being said.
I still think Don Lemon is wonderful and will still watch but can you instruct show participants to show more respect for what each person says?

I propose a Machiavellian explanation why the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation chairman, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), went to the White House without telling his committee colleagues he was to meet with a secret source. Quite a few reporters, congress people, and citizens share the view that Nunes may be sabotaging his committee’s efforts. Why? One possible explanation is by rendering his committee invalid and thus furthering the possibility of a special prosecutor being appointed. Here is the Machiavellian reason: A special prosecutor should delay any investigation, maybe years. President Trump may have a way better chance to stay president for a much longer time. So far, his leadership is incredibly flawed in so many ways. If the House of Representatives investigation is “sabotaged” this will work way better, for Trump. If we then see the senate investigation also get derailed, get cynical. If there is a derail effort by the administration to kill the senate investigation, this should be taken as a despicable effort to keep an unqualified man in the oval office.
August 6, 2015: The United States of America has lost an important brick of the national check and balance system with the loss of Jon Stewart. For those who read this blog page from other countries, Jon Stewart was for most young people, their main and maybe only source of news. He was beyond being a court jester because he and his writers were voices that no one seemed to control. Their voice seemed to cut through the bull shit that we expect from politicians, the gutless “news” we get from print, the sensationalist TV “news” short stories amounting to nothing in the time line of history. What Jon Stewart did was illuminate hypocrisy and shined light on the stupid which the United States of America, as well as any country, is full of.

Ani Zonneveld sent an open letter to the current Saudi King. She “has correctly highlighted Saudi Wahabism as a major source of extremism and the foundations for terrorist groups like ISIS.”
Some items she mentions in her letter:
The Quran liberated women from subhuman status, gave us rights to choose whom to marry, to work, to be in leadership positions and to ultimately live in full dignity.
There is nothing Islamic about the way many countries in the Muslim world are run today.
The Muslim world remains corrupted by power and money, the very dynamic Muhammad spoke against.
To read the complete open letter, go to LUBP.
She is appealing to a medieval Saudi monarch who’s one and only pursuit is self preservation of the oligarch ruling class. The Saudi monarchy abhors democracy. It works quite well for the rulers of Saudi Arabia to use religion to control its people. It would take a remarkable man to measure what she says as the truth. Truth has little value in the minds the oppressors.
The start up of Mexicoleaks seems to be similar to seeing two old wood war ships side by side shelling one another. Mexicoleaks appears to be a large cannon aimed at Mexico’s top politicians. Here is their stated purpose:
“Méxicoleaks is a tool that allows you to send information of public interest media and civil organizations through secure technologies that guarantee the anonymity of the source. Under transparency and citizen participation in society seeks to build justice and democracy.”
The web site is in Spanish but if you use the Chrome web browser, it offers you the ability to translate. Use Google Chrome and enter this web site address:https://mexicoleaks.mx/
Then make sure you choose the option to translate from Spanish into English. After you successfully do that, the web site should read perfectly in English.
It really is disheartening for the intelligent peoples of this world to watch Ukraine rise up against the former Ukrainian ruler, Yanukovych, a scum sucking dog of a man, who used his position to rape Ukraine of its wealth. It is depressing to view those brave individuals who rose up against Yanukovych, drove him from office, and now are now under threat from another scum bag, the ruler of Russia, Putin. The Russian ruler, Putin like Yanukovych was a self made oligarch by means of his political power acquired by raping his county of wealth and killing any opposition. Unlike Uranian people, the Russian people do not have the stomach, intelligence or balls to overturn their current narcissistic, self serving, ruler. Instead they exhibit a collective dream for a reviving a long lost Soviet empire that was built with stones of a political philosophy that had been corrupted from Karl Marks philosophy into a blend of dictatorship of the masses for the oligarchs.
The Russian people have never known freedom but subservience. They thus have seemed to resign themselves to lick this ruler’s boots and assume a dog position that they can never seem to stand up from. This walking on all fours has occurred since the beginning of time. Russia has always had dictators. It would be utterly fantastic if the Russian people could stand up to their dictator and overthrow Putin, their current scum bag ruler and offer the Ukrainian people a chance at building a country they wish to create free from the control of individuals that seek only personal gain.
